Secret of ritual for sleep
Ritual for sleep is the sequence of actions before the sleep that you do every day to help your baby to understand that it is time to go to bed.
- Ritual should be in one and the same sequence. A baby is quickly getting used to when mom, for example changed the cloth, stroked, carried on hands, sang the certain, always the same song, kissed three times - and that's all, after that nothing will happen, only sleep.
- Ritual should be kept before every nap and night sleep.
- Before 10 months ritual should be 5-7 minutes, after 10 months 10-15 minutes.
It is very important to maintain the correct wakefulness time for the child so that they fall asleep easily and sleep longer. For a newborn it is not more than 40-45 minutes.
Do not exceed the total time of daytime sleep, so as not to worsen and shorten the night sleep. For 2-3 months total time for naps is 5-6 hours.
